摘要: More and more attention has been paid on the greenhouse gas effect on global warming worldwide. It is heavily blamed on the contributions from anthropogenic carbon dioxide emission, especially from the combustion of fossil fuel. Injecting carbon dioxide into un-minable coal and enhance of coalbed methane recovery (CO2-ECBM) is one of the promising technologies for reducing carbon dioxide emissions. The adsorption capacity of CO2 in coal under coal seam conditions is one of key parameters requested in ECBM. It is necessary to research the influencing factor of adsorption capacity. The injected CO2 could dissolve in the water, increasing its acidity, and which in turns may dissolve part of mineral components in coal. The structure of coal will be changed by dissolution and transport of the minerals in coals. In this study, three Chinese coal samples in different ranks were treated with CO2 at 30-70oC and 4-10MPa for 24 hours. The ions that were dissolved from the coal were analyzed by ICP-AES, and the structure changes of coal samples were analyzed by FT-IR, the distribution of porosity was measured by N2 and CO2, the pH value was calculated by CO2 solubility and dissociation constant in the water. The results showed that the pH value of water-coal mixture increased as the increase of pressure, about 4% of weight loses, because CO2 dissolve the minerals in coal. Amount and type of ions dissolved depend on the coal type and the condition encountered. Na and Ca as the main ion components were found in the liquid phase from Tieling coal (with 46.97% ash content). An increase in the hydroxyl group and a decrease in BET surface area of treated coal were also observed.
