摘要: |
Coal contains various types of sulfur, which will decompose and transfer to gas, solid and liquid phases along with the release of volatiles during hydrocarbon components when coal pyrolysis, gasification and combustion. These transformations of sulfur have resulted in severe environmental problems [1, 2]. In many pyrolysis operations, more than 45% of sulfur in coal retains in coke [3], which reduces its quality and usability. In this regard, development of advanced pyrolysis technologies to reduce sulfur content in the solid and liquid products is of interests. There are many mineral matters in coal and which are unfavorable factors during coal pyrolysis. It was reported that the produced H2S from a high-sulfur-high-calcite Italian sulcis coal by hydropyrolysis would combined with alkaline minerals by secondary reaction to form metal sulfides [4]. The reaction between H2S and mineral matters is the main reason that leads to sulfur retention in coke. Na+, K+, Ca2+, Fe2+, Fe3+, and Ni2+ irons have strong effects on the sulfur transformation [5]. Many studies have been point out that mineral matters play an important role on the evolution and transformation of sulfur in coal during pyrolysis. To have better understandings on effects of minerals on interactions of H2S and coke, the reaction of H2S and a coke with impregnated minerals were studied. And the role of Na is mainly discussed in this presentation. |
