摘要: Natural graphite flakes with in-situ grown carbon nanotubes (CNTs) on them was obtained by chemical vapor deposition at 1023K. Then in-situ CNT reinforced graphite block was following prepared by hot pressing at 2973 K. Morphology of the as-grown CNTs and microstructure of the resulting graphite block were investigated. Thermal/mechanical properties of the block were measured. Results showed that the in-situ introduction of CNTs prominently improved the bending strength of the graphite matrix without bringing about obvious decrease of the in-plane thermal conductivity (TC). However, the TC parallel to hot-press presented a sharp decrease, which made the anisotropic degree of TC increase greatly.
