With the rapid development of the petrochemical industry, the utilization of heavy oil is becoming more and more important for the world. Heavy solvent deasphalting has been attracted more attention for it can removes asphaltene and metal compounds from residuum and provides large quantities of de-asphalted oil (DAO) for further upgrading. So the utilization of the de-oiled asphalt (DOA) is an important issue for the promotion of the whole technology. Thermo-chemical processes may be the best way to deal with DOA including pyrolysis, combustion, and gasification. In this paper, non-isothermal analyses were used to modify the heating processing of this resource. In addition, the thermal analyses were explained and the differences of devolatilization at different atmospheres were compared. |
